MUSCLE SPASM and IMBALANCE treated with Acupuncture:
BACK PAIN, Neck Pain, Headaches, Sciatica, Carpal Tunnel, Rotator Cuff, etc:
Q: What IS Acupuncture?
A:
Acupuncture is a treatment designed to balance the electrical energy in the body by precise placement of very fine disposable needles in strategic places along electromagnetic pathways called "Meridians". It is designed to improve blood flow, increase "CHI" energy, and decrease pain.

Q: Is Acupuncture
 painful?
A:
No. The treatments should be pleasant. This office uses only 32 - 42 gauge needles, and 1/2" to 1" length. You can generally fit 5 of our needles into 1 hypodermic needle...that's how small they are!

Q: What is Cosmetic Acupuncture?
A: Cosmetic Acupuncture is an effective way to diminish fine lines and wrinkles from the face. It is free of any negative side effects, unlike Botox, chemical peels, or surgery. It reduces the signs of aging by revitalizing the skin, giving a more youthful appearance.

COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE:

Q: How does Cosmetic Acupuncture Work?
A: The tiny needles inserted increase blood circulation, stimulating collagen formation, filling in the wrinkle. The skin is oxygenated, nourished, and moisturized from the inside out, increasing elasticity. There are no side effects, no risks, relatively inexpensive, no recovery time, and you look like yourself, only better.

Q: Why Not Surgery?
A: The cost of face lift surgery is over $ 6,000. Not to mention risks including scarring, nerve damage, infection, asymmetry, allergic reactions, and complications from anesthesia. Long and painful recovery time, pain medications needed, and some people don't like their appearance afterwards.

Q: Why not Botox?
A: Botox cannot treat wrinkle due to sun exposure or aging. It is only for dynamic wrinkles. There is risk of facial paralysis of the surrounding muscles and nerves, and the possibility of upper eyelid droop. The results are temporary. The more Botox you get, the more you will need to achieve results. $ 600- $ 1,000 every 3-4 months, and you may not be able to raise your eyebrows. If you insist on getting Botox, you will find that acupuncture treatments actually makes the Botox effective for a longer period of time; most patients find they may only need their Botox treatments every 8-12 months, instead of every 3 months.

FIBROMYALGIA, and CHRONIC PAIN relief with ACUPUNCTURE:

Q: How Many Acupuncture Treatments are Needed?
A:
A course of treatment with any acupuncture procedure is 12 visits, or as we say in the Acupuncture business, "One Period" of treatment. Twice weekly for an initial 6 weeks will determine if acupuncture will be effective for you.
Q: How long are the treatments?
A:
Sessions are scheduled in 45 minute increments.

Q: Are acupuncture needles safe?
A:
Yes. The Colorado Department of Health, OSHA, and the State Board specify and insist that only single use, disposable needles may be used.

Q: I'd like to try One or 2 Treatments to see if it works; can I do that?
A: Taking a couple of Acupuncture visits to see how you like it is like going to the gym to work out twice when you have to lose 35 pounds. That just doesn't work! If you commit to a program, you will have success; Acupuncture is a treatment process designed to balance energy. The amount of treatment administered is based on age, severity of illness or injury, and one's own recovery capabilities.
